Cornerstone Engineering was founded in 2013 by Andrew Ehlert. Prior to founding Cornerstone Engineering, Andrew spent 15 years working for automated assembly equipment OEMs including 5 years as Engineering manager. After relocating to Traverse City MI from metro Detroit, Andrew saw the need for a company that could offer OEMs quality, innovative and cost effective machine designs in a timely manner. Shortly after Cornerstone Engineering was founded, the demand was high and resources were added. As a result, we now have engineers locally in northern Michigan as well as metro Detroit and Grand Rapids.

 

Our vision is to function as an extension of your company and to provide on demand resources for engineering your automated equipment without the need to increase overhead.
